Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project - LO HO Life

Key components:
  • Recruit young-olds, retirees and housewives to be "LO HO Ambassadors" and equip them with knowledge on elderly communication skills, health information, elderly healthy exercise and home safety.
  • Conduct home visits and modification work for elderly people with high risk in home environment.
  • Teach young-olds on using smart phones as a means of communication and information by volunteers of young people and housewives.
  • Organise award presentation ceremony to invite the volunteers to share their service experiences and encourage them to continue to serve the community.
