The 22nd International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) World Congress was held in virtual format from 12 June to 16 June 2022. With the theme of “CARE: Commitment + Actions + Research + Equity”, the Congress provided a unique opportunity for practitioners from all over the world to exchange knowledge and experiences in gerontology and geriatric fields.

The abstract titled “Exploring the philanthropic role on building age-friendly community: the case study of Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project in Hong Kong”, was accepted for posted presentation on the virtual platform of the Congress to share the experiences of JCAFC Project and its achievements with professionals from different countries and cities.
