"Elderly Smart" – Age-friendly City

With the sponsorship of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, RTHK has produced a series of 30-minute TV programme titled “Elderly Smart”, which features elderly policies and local wisdoms on ageing all around the world. On the theme of “Age-friendly City”, the second episode introduces the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project and the work of building an age-friendly city in Japan, with the highest proportion of elderly population in the world, such as the elderly-friendly shopping street in the capital, Tokyo, as well as the walkable living circle, rental flats for the elderly and employment centers for silver group in Matsuyama, Shikoku.
