In order to promote the concept of age-friendly city and enhance intergenerational harmony, Age-friendly Bazaars were held by the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project during three weekends in October and November 2022 at different shopping malls, where around ten non-profit organisations and social enterprises were invited to set up stalls and arrange workshops. Bringing the craftsmanship and talent of the elderly and people from all ages together, families with kids and grandparents were all welcome to visit and experience.

Third Bazaar Date: 19-20 Novemeber 2022 (Sat & Sun) Time: 11am – 7pm Venue: Inno Expo, 1/F, Central Market, Central
* The workshops were conducted in Cantonese and covered various topics (moss ball, mini celebration plaque, stone painting, turn old T-shirt into drawstring bag, and ageing stimulation).
The Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project has also launched the “Charter for Age-friendly Shopping Malls” to encourage more shopping malls to cater for the needs of visitors at all ages, and implement age-friendly measures and services. It was joined by 60 shopping malls across the territory.
