Ambassador Activity - Training Workshop (Tai O)

Purpose:

  1. To collect the field observation data by bottom up approach
  2. To empower the elderly and enhance their participation in the community
  3. To carry out public education on age-friendly city concept
  4. To enhance intergenerational harmony 

 

Lesson One

Date: 16 December, 2015
Time: 11:00 am – 4:30 pm
Venue: Lingnan University
Participants: Elderly people in Tai O

Programme content:

  1. Introduction on the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project
  2. Interactive talk – Understand what age-friendly city is
  3. Practice field observation - Campus Hunt in Lingnan University: using checklist of eight domains of age-friendly city 
  4. Sharing and discussion
  5. Artwork design – My Ideal Age-friendly Tai O

Date: 19 December, 2015

  1. Revision on age-friendly city concept and preparation for field observation
