Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project – Interim Event on Project Achievements

Since its inception in 2015, the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project has partnered with various stakeholders to promote messages of age-friendly city in Hong Kong and encourage the public to be aware of the needs of the elderly and people of different ages. The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“HKJC”) Charities Trust and RTHK Radio 5 jointly organised an interim event to share the project achievements on 27 September 2018 at Youth Square in Chai Wan. Ms Imelda Chan, Head of Charities (Grant Making – Elderly and Family) of HKJC and Mr David Ho, Head of Chinese Programme Service of RTHK officiated the event. About 500 guests, Project ambassadors and celebrities joined the event to share and witness the interim achievements of the Project in the past three years.

Looking ahead, we look forward to continuing to promote the age-friendly culture to different stakeholders of the community through the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project.
