Ambassador Activity – My Quality Home Living - The Elderly Creative Workshop (Kwun Tong)

To enable senior citizens to share their preferences and suggestions for an age-friendly home environment, the professional support team of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has organised three sessions of creative workshop on quality home living. In the workshops, a total of 27 participants designed their quality home living using the set of visual tools produced by the team to express their preferences on home interior design. Through the workshops, different needs (e.g. needs for mobility, home safety, recreation, social network and social support) of participants were identified. The views collected will provide insights for further improvement on elderly home living and help promote the development of age-friendly home interior design.
