Ambassador Activity – Creative Workshop on Design of Quality Home Living Environment (Kowloon City)

To enable senior citizens to share their preferences and suggestions for an age-friendly home environment, the professional support team of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University organised an activity of “Creative Workshop on Design of Quality Home Living Environment”. In the workshop, participants designed their quality home living environment using a set of visual tools produced by the team to express their preferences on home interior design. Through the workshop, different needs (e.g. needs for mobility, home safety, recreation, social network and social support) of participants were identified. The views collected will provide insights for further improvement on elderly home living and help promote the development of age-friendly home interior design.
