Key components:
  • Train retired persons and community members to form a volunteer team of home maintenance ambassadors to conduct home visits and provide maintenance services to elderly households in need, with the assistance of local organisations and Housing Department.
  • Promote the volunteering services on home maintenance through e-platforms to arouse the public awareness on building an age-friendly community. 
  • Organise volunteer award presentation ceremony to recognise the active participation of home maintenance volunteers.
